AlfaPay, the mobile point-of-sale solution ("App"), is provided by 55th Street Ventures ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy clarifies our practices regarding the handling, storage, and protection of your data when you use the App.

Ownership and Data Responsibility
We do not own the data you manage through the App. All data, including Stripe account details, transactions, and user information necessary for processing payments, is stored on Stripe, not within Terminal.

Collection of Data
Terminal collects data essential for providing user support and troubleshooting, which includes:

• Stripe Account ID: For account identification and support.

• Crash Report Data: Utilizing Firebase Analytics for detailed crash and error reporting to enhance our service.

Data Storage

• Secure Storage: Our database within Google Firebase ensures your information is securely stored. This includes user settings that enhance your app experience; these settings are unrelated to payment processing and do not include payment information.

• Deletion Upon Request: We will delete your data, including user settings stored in Firebase, from our servers upon request.

Stored Data on Your Device

For operational functionality, Terminal stores:

• Authentication Token: To facilitate requests to Stripe on your behalf. Note: Credit card information, user information, bank account numbers, and transaction history are not stored by Terminal, as we rely on Stripe for secure data management.

  
  

Loss of Data and App Removal

• Loss of Data: We have no control over Stripe's server operations. Recovery of data stored on Stripe must be managed through Stripe.com.

• Removing the App: Deleting the App from your device removes locally stored data. For account data deletion, email support@alfapay.ca with "REMOVE DATA" subject line.

Data Rights
You have rights concerning your personal information, including:

• Deletion: We will anonymize your device ID upon request.

• Access: You may access the data provided to Terminal.

• Portability: You have the right to transfer your data.

Sub-processors

Terminal utilizes the following sub-processors to handle user-related data:

• Render: Hosting and infrastructure — Privacy Policy

• Mixpanel: App analytics — Privacy Policy

Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy. Amendments are effective immediately upon the posting of the updated document.
